TheyLied: are Municipalities promoting UN Agenda 2030 (Agenda 21)?
Are the decisions of municipalities reflecting the values, needs & priorities of our communities? Are our local decisions imposed by global agendas or external interests?
Can YOU do this at your local council meeting? Of course you can!

“We have put a serious wrench in a multi-billion dollar, multinational corporate marketing operation. And if we're successful, we could help protect municipalities across the country from long-term financial harm and restore democratic accountability where it matters most - at the local level. I want to talk to you today about the FCM (Federation of Canadian Municipalities) ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives, now known as Local Governments for Sustainability) & Partners for Climate Protection Program (PCP). Dufferin County joined this voluntary program in 2018. But, we can't assume this council really knows what the program is. The joining resolution is vague. It never says Paris Accord or Agenda 21, but it sets up a mini municipal version of both. This resolution is rarely debated in council before adoption or reviewed by the public or each new council. ICLEI itself, is an international NGO (Non-Governmental Organization). It was founded by the UN (United Nations) in 1990. Its mission is to implement all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) through local government action. This isn't speculation. In its own founding documents ICLEI describes its goal as the restructuring of human society through local governments ‘that should concern all who believe in local autonomy property rights and government transparency’.” ~ Maggie Hope Braun

Joel Sussman explained how, in 1994, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) sent the Municipal Primer to all of our towns. This Municipal Primer prescribes a blueprint of how our local governments were to implement the Global Agenda 2030 - a blueprint directed by the United Nations, G7, G20, Council on Foreign Relations, World Bank, World Economic Forum (WEF), World Health Organization, and the International Council on Local and Environmental Issues (ICLEI). ICLEI is the leading nationwide consultant group for all towns and cities.

The Agenda
“We, the public, are being manipulated. Our lifestyles, our culture and our future. Be it through forced ideologies, intrusive technologies, so-called pandemics, censorship or information which is too often propaganda. Your compliance is vital to the agenda. To impose global solutions, the leadership needs you to believe in global problems.”

Additional Resources
From ICLEI’s website:
“ICLEI is the only subnational government network accredited as an observer of all three cornerstone international agreements coming out of the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro: the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the UN Convention on Biodiversity (CBD) and the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
ICLEI actively implements and participates in international negotiations under these agreements to ensure the needs, interests and priorities of local and regional governments are represented and taken up in official decisions.
At the UNFCCC, ICLEI acts as focal point of the Local Governments and Municipal Authorities (LGMA) constituency. At the CBD, ICLEI is a leading partner of the Global Partnership on Local and Subnational Action for Biodiversity.”
Objectives of the LGMA:
“Coordinate inputs to the global climate negotiations all year;
Influence and inform outcomes toward meeting the Paris Agreement;
Advocate for multi-stakeholder and sectoral representation across the global advocacy agenda;
Collaborating with COP Presidencies;
Advancing the UNFCCC Friends of Multilevel Action.”
